Kingsleaf Lychee - exotic black tea with a hint of lychee

Kingsleaf Lychee is an aromatic black tea in bags that combines the classic depth of black tea with the delicately sweet, exotic aroma of lychee.

A carefully selected tea base creates a distinctive infusion, while the fruit note gives it lightness, freshness, and a subtly tropical character. It is an ideal choice for those who enjoy flavored teas with an elegant, unconventional profile. Once brewed, Kingsleaf Lychee delights with its amber color and a harmonious combination of the intensity of black tea and the pleasant aroma of lychee. Convenient tea bags allow you to quickly prepare your favorite brew at home, in the office, or while traveling. The tea tastes excellent on its own, with a touch of honey, or as a base for refreshing iced tea.

Kingsleaf Lychee is perfect for everyday moments of relaxation, gatherings with loved ones, and as a fruity accent to desserts. It is a great choice for black tea lovers who want to discover new, exotic flavors.

Black tea brewing time

How to prepare black tea:
  • Pour water at 90°C over the tea
  • ⏰ Brewing time should be between 3 and 5 minutes
Brew black tea just the way you like it best:
  • up to 3 minutes - you will get a highly refreshing and stimulating infusion
  • up to 5 minutes - the infusion will contain less caffeine, and its effect will be more relaxing

Brewing for too long makes the infusion taste bitter, but it does not make it contain more caffeine or be more stimulating.

On the contrary - the tannins that develop with each additional minute, giving a bitter taste, neutralize the effects of the theine.

Black tea - an aromatic classic

What is black tea and how does it differ from green tea?

Black tea consists of fully oxidized leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant. Unlike green (unoxidized) tea, it produces a darker infusion, has a fuller flavor (with malty, chocolatey, and spicy notes), and a more pronounced aroma.

How much caffeine does black tea have?

On average 40–70 mg of caffeine per 250 ml, depending on the variety, the amount of leaves, and the brewing time. This is less than an average cup of coffee, but the stimulating effect is gentler and longer-lasting.

Is black tea healthy?

Contains polyphenols and natural antioxidants. Moderate consumption is fine for most people. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to caffeine, or taking medication, consult your doctor.

What are the most popular types of black tea?

  • Ceylon/Sri Lanka: clean, citrusy freshness, medium strength.
  • Assam (India): strong, malty, great with milk.
  • Darjeeling (India): lighter, floral-muscatel (often called the "champagne of teas").
  • Yunnan/Keemun (China): silky, chocolatey-honey notes.
  • Earl Grey: black tea flavored with bergamot

Can you drink black tea with milk or lemon?

Yes. Milk suits strong teas (Assam, English Breakfast). Lemon brightens lighter profiles (Ceylon). Do not combine milk and lemon at the same time — the tea may curdle.
