Earl Grey Hardy Zawiadaka black tea - a classic with a fruity accent

Earl Grey Hardy Zawiadaka is a unique variation on the classic Earl Grey tea.

This aromatic black tea, enriched with natural bergamot oil, delights with its fresh and citrusy character . The addition of gooseberries gives it a delicate tartness, while rosehips subtly enhance the infusion's natural sweetness and fruity depth. This gives Earl Grey a new, original dimension —ideal for both morning stimulation and afternoon relaxation. This tea will appeal to both connoisseurs of classic teas and those seeking interesting, fruity combinations.

Its elegant form also makes it a great addition to any gift collection.

Black tea brewing time

How to prepare black tea:
  • pour water at 90°C over the tea
  • ⏰ Brewing time should be 3 to 5 minutes
Brew black tea the way you like it best:
  • up to 3 minutes - you will get a very refreshing and stimulating infusion
  • up to 5 minutes - the infusion will contain less caffeine and its effect will be more relaxing

Brewing for too long will make the infusion taste bitter, but it will not make it contain more caffeine or be more stimulating.

On the contrary, the tannins that are produced with each passing minute and give it a bitter taste neutralize the effect of theine.

Czarna herbata - aromatyczny klasyk

What is black tea and how is it different from green tea?

Black tea is made from fully oxidized leaves of the Camellia sinensis shrub. Unlike green tea (unoxidized), it has a darker infusion, a fuller flavor (notes of malt, chocolate, and spice), and a more pronounced aroma.

How much caffeine does black tea have?

On average, 40–70 mg of caffeine per 250 ml , depending on the variety, number of leaves, and brewing time. This is less than average coffee, but the stimulating effect is milder and longer-lasting.

Czy czarna herbata jest zdrowa?

Contains polyphenols and natural antioxidants. Moderate consumption is okay for most people. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to caffeine, or taking medications, consult your doctor.

Jakie są najpopularniejsze rodzaje czarnej herbaty?

  • Ceylon/Sri Lanka: clean, citrus freshness, medium strength.
  • Assam (India): strong, malty, great with milk.
  • Darjeeling (India): lighter, floral and nutmeg (often the "champagne of teas").
  • Yunnan/Keemun (China): silky, chocolate-honey notes.
  • Earl Grey: black tea flavored with bergamot

Czy czarną herbatę można pić z mlekiem lub cytryną?

Yes. Milk goes well with strong teas (Assam, English Breakfast). Lemon livens up lighter profiles (Ceylon). Don't combine milk and lemon at the same time—the infusion may curdle.
