Tea blends at their best.

Where does tea come from?

Tea was first cultivated in China over 4,000 years ago. Today, tea is also produced in India, Sri Lanka, Japan, Kenya, Vietnam, and many other tropical and subtropical countries.

Does tea contain caffeine?

Yes – Camellia sinensis teas contain theine (caffeine derived from tea leaves). Black and pu-erh teas contain the most, while white and green teas contain the least. Herbal and fruit teas contain no caffeine at all.

Is tea healthy?

Yes! It contains antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that support immunity, circulatory system, and metabolism. Drinking tea regularly can have a beneficial effect on your health.

How to store tea?

Store in a dry, dark place in an airtight container . Tea readily absorbs odors and moisture, so it should not be stored near spices or coffee.

What accessories are needed to brew tea?

Most often: a teapot, infuser, mug with a strainer, or a jug with a filter . For matcha, a bamboo whisk ( chasen ) and a bowl ( chawan ).
