Basilur Island of Tea is a unique set for true tea connoisseurs , enclosed in an elegant wooden box with a mahogany finish.

Inside, two metal tins in the shape of the island of Sri Lanka are filled with 200g of the highest quality Ceylon tea. Each tin contains aromatic leaves , which, when brewed, create an infusion full of depth, harmony, and oriental notes . The interior of the box is lined with a soft, red fabric featuring the Basilur logo, adding a luxurious touch. This is the perfect choice for a unique gift – elegant, tasteful, and full of flavor.

Where does tea come from?

Tea was first cultivated in China over 4,000 years ago. Today, tea is also produced in India, Sri Lanka, Japan, Kenya, Vietnam, and many other tropical and subtropical countries.

Does tea contain caffeine?

Yes – Camellia sinensis teas contain theine (caffeine derived from tea leaves). Black and pu-erh teas contain the most, while white and green teas contain the least. Herbal and fruit teas contain no caffeine at all.
