COFFEE AND TEA FILTERS - Safety Information (GPSR) Intended use: straining coffee/tea infusion; use in accordance with the brewer/coffee machine manufacturer's instructions. Not for cooking or direct heating on a stove/fire. Most important risks: Scalding from hot water/steam when pouring and removing the filter. Overflowing/spillage of the infusion if the filter is clogged or overfilled. Tearing/splitting of the filter and spilling of grounds/leaves. Fire hazard - keep dry paper filters away from flames and hot surfaces. Small parts (handles, clips) - choking hazard for children. Safe use: Choose the correct size and shape of the filter for the device; attach firmly, without kinks. Do not overfill: leave room for the coffee/leaves to expand; pour slowly. Do not press the filter with force during brewing; If the flow slows, stop and check the arrangement/grinding degree and the number of leaves. Remove the filter after it has cooled down or with a glove/holder; keep away from your face – beware of steam. Use disposable filters only once; use reusable filters according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Limitations and Compatibility: Do not use in a microwave, oven, or on a hotplate. Do not use solvents/aggressive cleaning agents. Use only in the designated filter areas with espresso machines/infusers; do not block valves or overflows. Condition Check: Do not use if the filter/holder is cracked, worn, frayed, distorted, or if the mesh is stretched/unglued. In case of repeated blockages – check the size, amount of raw material, and grinding degree; replace the filter if this does not help. Cleaning/Maintenance (reusable): Empty the grounds/leaves after each use; Rinse under running water; dry. Wash periodically with a mild detergent; do not use abrasive sponges. Store dry and clean; moisture promotes deposits and odors. Disposal and storage: Discard used disposable filters once they have cooled; keep dry paper filters away from fire and heat sources.
