MATCHA ACCESSORIES - Safety Information (GPSR) Intended use: preparing and portioning matcha (scooping powder, sifting, mixing/whipping the drink). Not for cooking or use on heat sources. Most important risks: Scalding from hot water/steam when preparing the drink. Cuts/punctures from sharp edges or tips (e.g. wire/brush tips, edge of strainer). Chips/fractures on impact or excessive pressure; small parts - choking hazard for children. Splashing of the drink during vigorous mixing. Safe use: Use only as intended (scooping, sifting, mixing). When whisking, hold the container steady; mix using a "M/W" motion without excessive pressure to avoid breaking the fibers and splashing. Do not leave accessories immersed in a hot drink - remove and set aside after use. If the manufacturer recommends, briefly soak the brush in warm, not boiling, water before use to soften the fibers. Keep away from countertop edges; do not use damaged tools. Restrictions: Do not use in the microwave, oven, or on a stovetop/fire. Dishwasher/strong detergents/long-term soaking – only if the manufacturer expressly permits; in the absence of information, treat as prohibited. Do not use for substances other than food; do not put in the mouth. Condition inspection: Do not use if components are cracked, chipped, deformed, the fibers/mesh are fraying or loose, or if corrosion/melting occurs. If the brush loses its shape or fibers fall out excessively, replace the accessory. Cleaning and maintenance: Rinse immediately in clean water after each use; remove any remaining powder. Wash with a mild detergent, without abrasive sponges; dry thoroughly. Store in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture (risk of mold/deformation). Dry the brush fiber side down/on a brush stand (if available) to maintain its shape. Children: This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children; do not leave accessories in a hot drink or where they can be knocked over.
