Instructions for using the jug:

Remember to prepare the jug for use - to do this, boil water in it and then pour it out.
After each use and rinsing, ensure the kettle is clean and dry to prevent rust. Avoid using detergents or harsh cleaning agents; wash it by hand.
Always use fresh or spring water. If you use mineral water, the chemicals in the minerals can damage the enamel coating.
Do not leave tea in the pot overnight.
In the unlikely event that rust appears, you can continue using your pot. After cleaning the rusted area with a soft brush, boil used tea bags or leaves in the pot. The tannic acid in the tea will naturally react with the cast iron, forming a coating on the damaged area.
