Basilur Tangerine is an aromatic Ceylon black tea from the Magic Fruits series, enriched with the natural taste and aroma of tangerine.

Its delicately citrusy character refreshes and energizes , while retaining the depth of classic Ceylon tea. Each of the 20 2g tea bags is individually sealed to preserve its full flavor and aroma.   • ⏰ Brewing time should be 3 to 5 minutes
Brew black tea the way you like it best:
  • up to 3 minutes - you will get a very refreshing and stimulating infusion
  • up to 5 minutes - the infusion will contain less caffeine and its effect will be more relaxing

Brewing for too long will make the infusion taste bitter, but it will not make it contain more caffeine or be more stimulating.

Black tea is made from fully oxidized leaves of the Camellia sinensis shrub. Unlike green tea (unoxidized), it has a darker infusion, a fuller flavor (notes of malt, chocolate, and spice), and a more pronounced aroma.

How much caffeine does black tea have?

On average, 40–70 mg of caffeine per 250 ml , depending on the variety, number of leaves, and brewing time. This is less than average coffee, but the stimulating effect is milder and longer-lasting.
